- I'm a critter-loving author so chronically messy and easily distracted that I sometimes wonder how I ever get anything done! I love being outside, enjoy gardening (though I don't have enough hours in the day at the moment to do much more than cut the grass occasionally), and could spend my whole life playing with my horses. Since that isn't practical, I make my living as a writer, probably about the best and the worst job in the world.
